Google Docs Forms Answer for data miners

Stop Sharing and Start Collecting

I am a frequent user of Google Docs since i have been doing some Data Mining for the past 10 months .. Data Mining means gathering information about certain topic and compile it in a readable order by encoding the raw file into the spreadsheet .. When working with a group .. I think the best solution in sharing my data thru google docs and our basic problem is when putting the data in the in correct rows . Today just past by an article of google docs a -- The article talks about new ways to collect data that will eliminate the basic problem in gathering data...

With Google Docs Forms we only need to customize the form according to our needs and fill them up when you want to gather ... then it will automatically encoded to your shared document with a timestamp in .. for us to determine when we were able to collect the certain data .. This feature can also be used for sign up page and for online research questionaires .. It can be embedded to a website or can be sent thru email ..

below is a sample of the questionaire.. kindly answer the following question to further test the feature thanks ...

Great tool from Google. I too was impressed with how easy it is to setup and capture data. I wish they had some built in customization tools though.
I did a review of this and other similar tools that make it easy to implement a form on your website. If you are interested check it out on my blog at http://blog.thinkworx.com/2008/11/01/easy-form-and-list-building-tools/
